BabyPeek ("we", "us", the "App") is an AI-powered ultrasound analysis app for baby gender prediction developed by Sly13. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App processes, how it is used, where it is stored, whether it is shared, and how long it is kept. We built BabyPeek to be private by design: your ultrasound images never leave your device.

Summary. BabyPeek analyzes your ultrasound images using AI and 5 proven methods (AI analysis, Chinese gender calendar, Nub theory, Ramzi method, and Skull theory) entirely on your device. Your ultrasound scans and the analysis results are stored only on your iPhone. We do not upload, transmit, sell, or share your ultrasound images with anyone. You can permanently delete all of it at any time from Settings.

1. Ultrasound Image Data

What image data we collect

When you analyze an ultrasound scan, BabyPeek processes the image using on-device AI and applies 5 gender prediction methods. The App stores:

the ultrasound image you selected from your photo library;
the AI prediction result with confidence percentage;
the results from 5 prediction methods (AI, Chinese calendar, Nub theory, Ramzi method, Skull theory);
scan metadata you generate in the App (date, notes, scan history for progress tracking).

BabyPeek does not use facial recognition, does not perform identity recognition, and does not transmit your images to any external service for analysis.

How we use image data

All image data is used solely to provide the App's features to you: to display your scan, calculate and show predictions from all 5 methods, build your personal scan history, and generate gender reveal templates. All of this processing happens locally on your device.

Whether image data is shared with third parties

We do not share your ultrasound images with any third party. Your ultrasound scans and prediction results are never uploaded to our servers, never sent to any analytics, advertising, or other service provider, and are never sold. The data does not leave your iPhone unless you yourself deliberately export and share a screenshot or gender reveal card.

Where image data is stored

Image data is stored exclusively in the App's local storage on your device (using on-device SwiftData and the device file system). It is not stored in any cloud service controlled by us.

How long image data is retained

Image data is retained on your device until you delete it. You remain in control at all times:

You can delete an individual scan from your history at any time.
You can erase everything — every scan and every prediction result — using Settings → Privacy → Delete all data.
Deleting the App from your device also removes all locally stored scan data.

2. Other Information We Process

To run the App and offer optional subscriptions, a limited amount of non-image information is processed by the following services. None of these services receive your ultrasound images or prediction results.

Purchases (Apple & RevenueCat). If you buy a subscription, the transaction is handled by Apple's App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription entitlements. RevenueCat receives purchase/transaction information and a randomly generated, anonymous app user identifier — not your name and not your ultrasound images. Crash and stability reporting (Firebase). If the App crashes, anonymized technical diagnostic data (such as device model, OS version, and a stack trace) may be sent to Firebase to help us fix bugs. This diagnostic data does not include your ultrasound images or predictions.

3. No Accounts; No Tracking

BabyPeek does not require you to create an account. We do not use advertising identifiers, we do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not build advertising profiles.

4. Intended Use and Age Restrictions

BabyPeek is designed for use by expectant parents (generally age 18+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App is not directed to children and should only be used by adults for personal ultrasound analysis purposes.

5. Your Rights

Because your data is stored locally on your device and not on our servers, you have direct and complete control over it. You can access, export, and permanently delete your data at any time from within the App. Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or CCPA/CPRA), you may have additional rights regarding personal information; since we neither collect nor retain image data off-device, deletion within the App removes the data entirely.

6. Security

Ultrasound image data remains on your device and is protected by your device's own security (passcode, encryption, and app sandboxing provided by iOS). We recommend keeping your device updated and protected with a passcode or biometric lock.

BabyPeek is for entertainment and informational purposes only. The gender predictions are based on visual analysis and established methods, but are not 100% accurate and do not provide medical diagnosis or guarantee. Always consult with a qualified healthcare provider for medical information about your pregnancy. BabyPeek predictions are not a substitute for professional medical advice.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
