PostureLab AI ("we", "us", the "App") is a posture analysis and self‑tracking app developed by Vadim Semenko. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App processes, how it is used, where it is stored, whether it is shared, and how long it is kept. We built PostureLab AI to be private by design: your photos and posture measurements never leave your device.
When you run a scan, the App uses your iPhone camera (or a photo you pick from your library) and Apple's on‑device Vision framework to detect body‑pose landmarks and calculate posture angles such as the craniovertebral (forward‑head) angle, shoulder tilt and pelvic tilt. This processing happens locally on your device.
Scan photos are saved inside the App's private sandbox on your device (the iOS file system). Posture readings and scan history are stored locally using Apple's on‑device database (SwiftData). None of this is sent to us or to any third party.
The App requests camera access only to capture posture photos. You can revoke this at any time in iOS Settings → PostureLab AI.
If you use the Live Posture Monitor, the App reads head‑orientation motion data from compatible AirPods (via Apple's headphone motion APIs) and, optionally, motion from a paired Apple Watch, to estimate your neck angle in real time and alert you when you slouch. This motion data is processed live on your device to drive the alert and is not stored on, or transmitted to, our servers.
If you enable reminders or posture alerts, the App schedules local notifications on your device. These are generated and delivered locally by iOS; we do not operate a push server and do not receive your notification content.
PostureLab AI offers optional auto‑renewing subscriptions (PostureLab Pro). Purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple Account; we never see your payment card or full Apple Account details. To manage subscriptions and validate entitlements we use RevenueCat, a subscription infrastructure provider. RevenueCat processes a randomly generated app user ID, a device identifier, and your purchase history (which product you bought and its status) solely to deliver and restore your subscription. This data is not used to track you across other apps or websites and is not linked to your real‑world identity.

We do not collect your name, email, contacts, precise location, or browsing activity, and we do not use your data for tracking or advertising.
Your photos, scans and posture history remain on your device until you delete them. Subscription records held by Apple and RevenueCat are retained as needed to provide and account for the subscription service.
You can erase all locally stored content at any time via Settings → Delete all data inside the App, which permanently removes every photo, scan, session and setting on your device. Deleting the App also removes all locally stored content.
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
PostureLab AI is a wellness and educational tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. The posture angles and scores it shows are estimates for informational purposes only. Consult a qualified healthcare professional for any medical concern.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
