Sourdough Tracker & Calculator ("we", "us", the "App") is a sourdough and pizza‑dough baking companion developed by Vadim Semenko (Sly13). This Privacy Policy explains what data the App processes, how it is used, where it is stored, whether it is shared, and how long it is kept. The App is built to be private by design: your baking content stays on your device, and we do not require an account.

Summary. Your starters, bakes, schedules, recipes, journal entries and any photos you add are stored only on your iPhone. We do not sell or share your baking content. The App processes a small amount of anonymous, non‑identifying diagnostic and usage information to run features, fix crashes, and manage subscriptions. You can permanently delete all of your data at any time from Settings → Delete all data.

1. Data You Create in the App

When you use the App you can create starters, log feedings, build bake schedules, save recipes, keep a baking journal, and attach notes and photos. This content is stored locally on your device (using on‑device SwiftData and the device file system). It is not uploaded to any server controlled by us, is not shared with third parties, and never leaves your iPhone unless you yourself deliberately export or share it (for example a screenshot). Any photos you add are read only to display and store them in your own journal.

2. Information Processed to Run the App

To operate the App and offer optional subscriptions, a limited amount of non‑identifying information is processed by the services below. None of these services receive your starters, recipes, journal entries, notes or photos.

Analytics & diagnostics (Google Firebase). The App uses Firebase to understand how features are used (for example which screens are opened) and to keep the App stable. Firebase may process anonymous identifiers (an app‑generated user ID and a device identifier), product‑interaction/usage events, and crash and performance data. This information is not linked to your identity and is not used to track you across other apps or websites.
Purchases (Apple & RevenueCat). If you buy a subscription, the transaction is handled by Apple's App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription entitlements. RevenueCat receives purchase/transaction information and a randomly generated, anonymous app user identifier — not your name and not your baking content. 3. Notifications

If you enable reminders, the App schedules local notifications on your device (for example feeding reminders and bake‑schedule step alerts). These are generated and delivered on your device; we do not operate a push server that sends you marketing messages.

4. No Accounts; No Tracking

The App does not require you to create an account to use its baking features. We do not use advertising identifiers, we do not serve ads, we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not build advertising profiles.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Because your baking content is stored locally on your device and not on our servers, you have direct and complete control over it:

You can delete an individual starter, bake, recipe or journal entry at any time.
You can erase everything — all baking content and preferences — using Settings → Delete all data.
Deleting the App from your device also removes all locally stored content.

Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or CCPA/CPRA), you may have additional rights regarding personal information. Since your baking content is neither collected nor retained on our servers, deleting it within the App removes it entirely. 7. Security

Your content remains on your device and is protected by your device's own security (passcode, encryption, and app sandboxing provided by iOS). We recommend keeping your device updated and protected with a passcode or biometric lock.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
